c# - Want to keep running the exchange migration code after closing the web browser -

I have an asp.net MVC application in which I am migrating from one exchange server to another, now I am running Migration process and open browsers do not mean that the user should go behind the browser process when the user closes and the manger can see the progress of the browser after opening the browser. Anyone can help me in this, ASP.N.M.C. How to get this work using 4 MC4C # or any other service

Given the low amount of information in the question, I can only answer briefly.

  • When the user triggers migration (i.e. sends request for MVC), you must trigger a migration in a different thread.
  • Ensure that access to a worldwide accessible variable of different threads, e.g. IsRunning the Bowl Migration . Your migration will set it to true , and when complete, on false (by success or error, in any way).
  • When your user returns to the migration page, check the value of your controller method MigrationIsering (the variable from the previous step), and return the correct feedback to the user.

Note: Instead of a Boole, you can use a custom square that shows in more detail. I'm not sure what your users need to know during the migration process. Note 2: If your entire application should be inaccessible during the migration, then you have step 3 on your masterpage, or Global.asax, so you have full coverage of your web application instead of the same page.
